Within the Alberta Education curriculum, work experience provides an opportunity for students to gain valuable skills in an off-campus education setting. It is also an opportunity for high school students to discover their career interests and aptitudes in a particular field or industry.
Work experience is not a spare; it is a scheduled and coordinated program requiring the effort of students, employers and staff to ensure that it is providing the best experience possible for your child.
